If you are an Oprah fan then you have heard of Oprah’s book club. She has read hundreds of books and has turned her audience on to the joys of reading. Women who aren’t really the reading type have been transformed by her book club. Oprah’s influence is a great thing, she herself is a great humanitarian and she began this book club to help turn people on to reading.
If you are an author and Oprah picks your book, you can then imagine the popularity that your book will see after Oprah recommends it. You as a viewer can also suggest a book to the show. If you have read a book that you feel will help people or tell a great story contact the Oprah show and share with them why you think this book will be a great addition to Oprah’s book club.
Oprah’s influence is overwhelming because she is listens to people and she genuinely tries to help people and not for her own fame but because she truly cares about people. If helping people especially young people continue the practice of reading worthwhile books then she can help improve a person’s life.
