Oprah helps thousands of people all around the world, not just people here at home. She has given millions and millions of dollars to charities as well as for people with aids. That is a cause that she is very active in. The education of young women is also her passion she has set up an educational program for girls in South Africa for young girls who can’t afford an education.
Other celebrities also contribute to her causes, she has an Angel Network that helps other charities, and singer Jon Bon Jovi has donated a million dollars to her organization. She in turn has beautiful star studded gala’s to celebrate people who make a difference to others.
Oprah books guests that are designed to help people such as Dr. Robin and Dr. Phil. She talks about love, relationships, people who have been through hard times. She has those types of guests to show others that unfortunate things happen to people but there is always a way to make things better and that all is not lost.
Her new satellite radio channel will help people as well; people who can’t watch her show but can listen on the radio. The same people who contribute to her magazine will also be on the air as well as her best friend Gayle King.
